perhaps I’m wrong

perhaps this has

gone on too long

Perhaps I love you

perhaps I don’t

perhaps you’ve hurt me

more than you’ve known

Perhaps I’m sorry

perhaps you are too

perhaps I’ll see you

out of the blue

Perhaps you’ll smile

perhaps I’ll frown

perhaps this whole thing’s

turned upside down

Perhaps you’re wrong

perhaps I’m right

perhaps we can end

this foolish fight
